Every auction will have a start date and time and an end date and time that will be clearly stated in auction details.
We try to give you a small description of what lots can be found in each sale in the auction details.
We aim to give you the best understanding of each lot being auctioned through detailed descriptions and pictures, so you have full confidence of what you are buying.
On rare occasions we may hold online auctions on behalf of businesses on their own
premises, this will be clearly stated if this is the case.
We usually stagger the finishing lot times on each auction e.g. each lot may finish 30 seconds apart this will vary from auction to auction.
To place bids in any of our online auctions, you must be registered and hold an active account.
There are two simple ways to bid:
1. Maximum Bid (Auto-Bid)
Enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for a lot and click the Bid button.
Our system will automatically place bids on your behalf, increasing in the minimum bid increments, until either:
The auction ends and you are the winning bidder, or
Your maximum bid is exceeded by another bidder.
2. Manual Bid
Enter the next bid increment and click the Bid button.
Please note that your bid may be immediately exceeded if another bidder has already placed a higher maximum bid.
Bids can be placed on a lot right up until the closing time of the auction.
Lots usually close in staggered intervals (for example, 30 seconds apart). The exact timing may vary from auction to auction.
Bidding Extension: If a bid is placed within the final 30 seconds, the lot’s closing time will automatically extend by a further 30 seconds. The extension period may vary depending on the auction.
In addition to the final hammer price, auction charges will apply and should be considered when bidding.
Buyer’s Premium & Internet Surcharge: A percentage is added to the hammer price on every lot. This rate may vary by auction and will be clearly stated. The buyer’s premium is subject to VAT at 20%.
VAT: Most lots are subject to VAT at 20%, unless otherwise stated in the lot details.

Once the auction has ended, you will receive two emails.
The first email will confirm the lot(s) you have won and provide a full breakdown of the hammer price and the total amount due, this email will also contain further post sale information.
The second email will contain a payment link. Simply click the link to complete payment for your winning lot(s).
If delivery is required, please request delivery on the same email.
Items cannot be collected or delivered until full payment has been received.
All items must be collected within the stated timeframe.
A £20 storage fee will be charged if lots are not collected within the stated timeframe.
Collection appointments must be booked prior to collection.
To book your collection slot, please use the post-sale email that includes the payment link, delivery request, and collection booking details.
Onsite collection appointments are 15 minutes apart and must be booked with at least 60 minutes notice. (Additional notice may be required for larger orders.)
If you are delayed, please inform us.
Any lots that have been paid for but not collected within 7 days will be disposed of with no refund or compensation.
